I am a feminist sociologist of sport and research consultant who specialises in the experiences of women in endurance sport. I am interested in the politics of participation and inclusion, gender in sport and how endurance sport is understood as a leisure activity.
I completed my PhD at Birkbeck, University of London, in 2026 and continue to work closely with colleagues on academic projects. I actively engage in academic activism, utilising social media to communicate academic ideas in a way which is accessible and working with advocacy group Our Streets Now.
Alongside my academic work I am a research consultant who helps organisations understand women’s participation in sport, deliver meaningful solutions and measurable impact.
